Events in our congregation

This coming Shabbat we are invited to a kiddush by our members Mark and Nili Goldstein

Rabbi Barry’s trip

Rabbi Barry will go to the States on behalf of the Ministry of Diaspora, the Masorti movement and our congregation. He will be absent from June 7 to June 25.

Wanted – Kiddushim

Not every Shabbat do we have a celebration – a Bar-Mitzvah or Shabbat Hatan. We are looking for members who want to volunteer a Kiddush: to mark a personal celebration, to mark a jahrzeit – or just for the fun of it!!

Please contact Rav Barry to coordinate the Kiddush.

Events in the Masorti Movement

Women’s Study Day

If you plan to attend the National Study Day in Jerusalem on Friday June 21, please let Ruth Ritterband know. She is working with the representative of each neighboring city to arrange for a bus for the trip to Jerusalem. As last year, the bus will stop at the southern end of Raanana at the corner of Ahuza and Yerushalayim at the bus stop going south. Parking is in the large lot at the southern section of that mall area. We will each reserve a place, through Ruth, on that bus.

Kabbalat Shabbat near the Kotel

The Masorti movement is happy to announce the launching of a new program – Egalitarian, Halachic Kabalat Shabbat in the “Families’ Kotel” – Every friday at 18:00
